I’m Marta Baldwin, a Colorado native, transplanted to the beautiful island of Maui and now to this historic little town called Nevada City. I love it here! I’m an outdoor enthusiast who spends as much free time in the outdoors as possible. Growing up in the Rocky Mountains provided me with opportunities to ski, snowboard, hike, mountain bike and cycle. Moving to Maui expanded my appreciation for nature, the ocean and all the wonderful things to enjoy on it and in it!
My love for activity, and the occasional hazard that come with the territory, has inspired me throughout the years to keep my own body in good shape. I’ve had the privilege of working with many professional mentors that have enhanced my technical application and skill set.
I began my body work education in Maui, graduating from the Maui Academy of Healing Arts, then 8 years working at world renowned spa at the Grand Wailea while simutaniusly building Maui Massageworks. After the whole pandemic thing, I secured a studio of my own and launched Maui Massageworks as a full time therapy center. Throughout the years I’ve had the privilege of working on hundreds of local clients, athletes and visitors from around the world. Now, I’ve moved my studio, and a bit Maui Aloha, back to the mainland, right in the heart of increadible Nevada City California.
Customizing each session for the individual is my specialty, combining deep tissue work, stretching and mobility with mixed modalities that create a massage that provides therapeutic value, yet encourages deep relaxation.
